Default evojet 160 calibration

Hi
We have the evojet booster 160 (not the vx) which was bought in 2009 and never run since then,
and we have a little problem in the ECU adjustment.
we are trying to adjust the max. rpm from 120000 (factory setting) to 116000 so after doing it the ECU shows the
max. rpm 116000, BUT after switch off the ECU and turning on again for a regular use
the ECU shows that the max. rpm is adjusting to 120000!
so, how do I teach the ECU to stay in the rpm which I want it to be, and not the factory adjustment
to the max. rpm.

Thank you in advance
Avi

Hi Dave

I have no intention to defame or anything to do with it, on the contrary! We (my partner and I) have the engine and we're very pleased with it.
I know I can turn to the evojet support and I will do that (I hope that someone will chime in here), the only reason that I'm turning to public is
because the forum is a source of information and as I was helped a lot of times with information of others here in every possible subject,
I believe in the future can be a situation that someone else in the world would face a situation where I stand, then he will seek here a solution
based on the knowledge of others, despite I believe that in my case maybe I have missed something in the tuning of the ECU.
Dave, take an example the JetCat turbines which they are very common in the world, you can do a search here in the RCU for
almost everything you want to know about them and you will find a solution for what you want, and that because everyone
here are sharing information.

Thank you
Avi

I remember it has to do the new engine never runs with that new ecu - so they where not bound to each other.
Adjust the value and then let it run or at least do a startup to bind...

Hi Avi, thats easy.
Since the Jetronic and the engine never runs together they where not 'bound'. Therefore the Jetronic performs a 'preset to factory settings' every time its switched on. Make your settings and start the turbine - ready. From that point on the Jetronic and the turbine are 'friends' and no preset will perfom ;-)))

If you have further questions dont hesitate to contact me again.
