Going to buy all the stuff I need to get my Rookie II in the air. The biggest thing I'm needing is the gear set for it so guess that will be my winter project. KC-just too darn lucky with your WX down there. Ha. Ha.

Hooker, any of you guys that wanna make a winter trip down this way are welcome to come fly as my guest, 500' x 2500' of flat smooth CLEAN concrete, even Ron Long could hit the runway every time here.

KC, don't tempt me. I love it down there where you are at. Does the possums on a half shell stay out in the winter month's down there? Thanks for the offer. I might just have to work that out.

All sounds im thinking f15&f14 myself but that depends on somethings. And like Kc said burn lots of fuel since the winter is better than summer flying do to mild temps.

Now that's funny!!!!! If it's 500 ft wide, I probably could too!

Project #1 - Get my LONG-TERM project 80" Ziroli Panther in primer and test flown (that's a 10-year old picture)

Project #2 - get Louie's Turbinator painted

Project #3 - Get my new Xtreme Jets F-4 ready for next season - it should be here in the next month or so...

Still working on my Mark Frankel Learjet 31A (making good progress, in primer now). Hope to have it completed early in 2012 so I can start either my Avonds F-16 or BVM T-33.

Both *really* nice flying airplanes - although the T-33 can be tricky to land - esp. in comparison to the F-16. I built one of those for a buddy and its an awesome flying plane!

yeah its driving me nuts with nothing to build, I am having to dip into my hobby funds to buy 6x12 trailer to haul the stuff. I normally just use my vehicle, but with jets and Jet-A fuel I cannot do this. I cannot take the fumes, so more delays. I guess I can just do some pc gaming this winter.

its amazing how much a box with wheels cost these days [:@]
