I am looking for people who may have switched from other brands that can give me some feedback on long term operations and reliability. Thanks

I have two p-120se's and one K140f. Once the 140 is primed right you will have no trouble with that engine.Unfortunenately the instructions are not specefic on how to do that.
If you want more E-mail me.

hey fender,

i do have a ram in my pst but i am very please with my kingtech k170's in the mig. price is great for the power. these babies push my mig around with no problems. i have not had any flames out so far. i only have 6 flights on the mig so far but i'm planning on putting 4 or 5 flights this weekend.
Barry and dirk are great and help with all and any issues!

Fender,

You saw my K170-F start first time, every time and fly firsthand this past Saturday. only flame out it's had was on the last flight when taxing back in but it was from lack of fuel in the tanks form keeping that left stick in the FUN position too long!!!

I never had a flaemout in over 70 flights. I use K-1 with aeroshell 500, the winter and the snow shut me down.If price is everything the Kingtech will more than fill the bill.If price is not that big ofa deal, buy TWO of them.

Fender

I Have A K-80 that is 2-1/2 years old with about 12 hours on. Still solid as a rock. Kingtech engines are for real and they are here to stay.

Barry and Dirk of www.kingtechusa.com are also able to service the engines here in the U.S. if you would need it. They are very helpful with any and all questions when you contact them.

Here is video of the first flight in my F-85.

The engine is in the same jet still.

I also have a K-140 that is 1 year old in a F-15 and all I can say is the power of the engine is great.

Here is the video of the first flight on my K-140

I am very pleased with these to engines.

No engine has been shiped back yet, exept two that owners requested to be changed to "F" kyro start.

My thoughts on flameout is mostly cause by the owner fuel system setup. (minus RPM sensor and fuel pump) I hope Dreamworks takes on full service of Kingtec engine.

My opinion

I have three Kingtech's and they run great. I also continue to run Jetcat RTI and AMT with great success. I just like that we have another option that is working and the price is awesome.

Priming the main fuel line and the burner line is simple. You lower the trim to stop position then cycle through the second menu labelled 'info'. The valaves will automatically open to prime the lines.
