Multiplex seem to be taking their concept of modularity too far !
I guess if you're on a budget you can buy a new piece each month.

Thanks Julian
I was trying to that but it would not down load as they say something up with RC universe
I will be putting it in your F20 when I get all the bits

I'm very interested in this and am looking forward to seeing the full pic and specs tomorrow.
This is the most likely candidate to drag me away from buying a Futaba 18MZ.

My next radio system will be multiplex, i have been looking at the royal pro 16, but this does look interesting, one question though, is this a tray style transmitter? some of the switches look like they would be hard to get to if you don't use a neck strap/tray

I think any of us that has been using the PROFI MC 4000 is hoping very much that its software is going to be as revolutionary as the MC 4000 was when it came out
as it was light years ahead at the time I am just glad it is another tray type
but I did hear that they will have a hand held version coming as well
we shall no all the details tomorrow
cheers

I did have a club member who uses multiplex show me that sticks are actually quite close to the edge of the case, in fact closer to the edge than my current JR transmitter, it's just that when holding it, it feels so wide, suppose that is some thing you would get used to.
I don't use a neck strap at all, so would have to have a play with one to see if i can get to all the switches ok.

Have flown MPX for more than 20 years and swear by it, I did however buy another brand on 2.4 and flew some of my stuff on it for a while but am now back exclusively with my Royal pro 16. I look forward with interest at this new offering as I am confident that Multiplex will have done their homework and bring a top notch product to the market. Time to start filling the piggybank!.

If you want it here in the States and Canada like I do, bombard Multiplex with emails. Go to the site and go to contact; tell them how you feel. multiplex-rc.de

It seems Multiplex has taken the novelty factor to a new level!! The 18MZ comes with a built-in camera and it looks like the Profi TX premium edition comes with a watch!!
Have they given any idea of the estimated price bracket (for the 16 channel version) or when it will be available?

Not from Multiplex, but shops are already speculating on prices. Based on their history I don't expect to see the new tx in the shops before 2013.
