I did on my FEJ A-10 with older gas start JetCat P-120's (ver. 6.x ECU's). I made up longer "phone cables" that carry thermocouple and rpm data. Also, extended the power wiring from the ECU to the turbine. The total length from ECU to turbine was about 6.5 feet. Flew the A-10 multiple times last year without issue.

It can be done, but Jetcat will probably not reccomend it (and you will most likely say goodbye to the warranty) ,probably to minimize user-caused shutdows and failures due poor soldering skills. If one has the knowledge and skills, I see no problem doing this

Shoot jetcat an email, and hear what the say..

Yes, you can. Max recommended length is 1.5m Turbine to ECU and if you need to extend the ECU to Fuel Pump 1.0m. But its best to keep both as short as possible. JetCat don't yet offer longer cables, but I have asked them to look into it...

regards

Dave

If you do extend the data cable be sure you get the polarity correct when you install the connector.
