Default Elevator & Rudder extensions ???

Hi All,

What method do you guys use to protect the servo wires and rudder servo from the heat of the tail pipe? Aluminum tape, BVM heat shield, the heat blanket or all of the above?

Thanks for all your help in advance!

Additionally, route the servo wires along the sides and away from the top of the fuselage to the max extent possible. Generally speaking, you won't need heat protection along the sides unless they are very close to the tailpipe.

Aluminum tape over ceramic blanket. The aluminum tape, if left natural finish, reflects radiant heat and the blanket provides some protection against conductive heating.
