Skymaster G2 F16 arrives
This morning my new Skymaster G2 F16 1/6th scale arrived , WOW what a fantastic job, constuction, scale detail, attention to detail , fits, paint work camo and colour, and even packaging is next to non having travelled many miles and handled many times in a very strong four ply cardboard box with so much foam and bubble wrap,. Not a scratch on it Well done all at Skymaster. The undercarraige is beautiful but no changes to this, the gear doors fits are perfect and on very strong fibre hinges .
It seems very light, .
I have been waiting a while but the wait has been well worth it.
I shall be fitting out with MKS servos and powerbox I gyro,SRS system using 2 Futaba Rec and two 3200Mah Life powerbox batts, also a trusty Jetcat P200sx. I think this will will be a good combo, .
Will post pictures when I find out how to do so.
regards Mark Hinton

Yes will post some later, I did have the Gen 1 and it is still flying with its new very happy owner. In 150 flights with the old one never a problem, so I hope the new G2 will follow in its footsteps.

Mark,
Be good to see this jet and your build. Interesting to see you have selected to use MKS servo's, I have these in my two demo Stingers and they are superb, I think a servo which will gain more fans as they become more known.
Hope your fitting a CAT too

Very cool scheme, though I'm not sure how anyone has the ''rights'' to it...

Seans 4 view is good but not quite correct. The white on the spine is almost symmetric and extends further aft. when you're flying next to this jet that white symmetric pattern really stands out.
We went through a LOT of work to get that scheme approved and the 'Love Boat' as we call 269 is the only one painted in it so far. Also of note Nellis now has two of the Arctic scheme Viper Aggressors as well. Cool as hell, but weird against the desert?..good thing
there's snow up range most of the winter

RE: Skymaster G2 F16 arrives
Yes major changes are new molds, with more detail, and dare I say it , so the experts with 1000s of posts and no aircraft to show can rip me apart, a new tail end that's suppose to be more scale, and it is very light, the build quality is great , I have had more time to look over this now and the fin has been made stronger and the aileron servos now go into the root of the wing so no hatch underneath.
The geardoor fits and hinge system is to die for.....as far as I,m concerned the scheme is close enough for me as all ill be doing with it is flying and burning Kero, not dreaming it.
I highly recommend this as a F16 I hope it flies as good as my last SM F16.
