I can't really vote on this thread, however with all issues FEJ is going through with their F-14 and how they have handled the situation, leaves me no choice but to add my two cents while I'm still alive. I have purchased a 1:8 scale Jet Legend F-16, a 1:6 Scale SkyMaster F-16 and currently waiting on a 1:4.5 Hawk from FEJ. Not much can be critiqued on the Jet Legend ARF I got, except that I realized it was two small and the landing gear was not that strong to me, in my opinion. That ARF was promptly sold without wasting time to build. The Camlex rep then, I am sure he still is was great and responded to all my emails in a timely fashion. Skymaster on the other hand left me questioning whether I made a good decision. The first kit I received, had the main landing gear former glued in at an angle, I totally lost all interest in building that jet. One of the well known RC modellers whom most of you know or have ordered parts from can attest to this. I will refrain from mentioning his name. A replacement was requested, which was granted, however, the second as well had the main gear former glued in at an angle so I deduced that subsequent kits would be the same. This kit was also promptly sold and I vowed never to purchase a SM F-16 (first generation) jet until I had personally inspected one before parting away with my hard earned cash. With regards to customer service, SM was great and responded to my emails and questions through the US dealer I ordered through. I give them a B on customer service. With regards to FEJ, I am awaiting my first Hawk and will do well to thoroughly inspect the ARF when it arrives for any parts that I feel are engineered improperly or formers glued crookedly. Though I do not hold a degree in Aerospace Engineering, I do have an eye for good engineering and can quickly spot a flaw when I see one. In regards to the purchase, had it not been for the Rep I ordered through, I probably would not have ordered it as I had a fallout personally with James at FEJ. I would go into what really occurred between James and I on here as I feel it would deviate from the topic at hand. Until I receive my first order,I'll hold my thoughts for now but closely monitor what is currently going on to be better informed in the future. FEJ should know that with any BUSINESS, it's your customer BASE that keeps you afloat and should actually bend over backwords to APPEASE your customer. They are the ones who would come back over and over again to do business with you. Once you have lost that trust, it is only a matter of time before the inevitable occurs...

Skymaster customer service has made a big improvement over the last year.
Very quick response..
Fly Eagle have completely overcome this problem - they just don't provide any!

I have had Jets from all 4 companies and they have all had problems to some degree or other. I currently fly a JL Mig 29 which also has had one or two problems, but they have improved and swapped out the offending parts. The service has been great, largely due to their agent, Jeff Sewell.
I did have to get some parts from FB for a Hawk. They did grudingly I feel, replace them (Warped aileron). FB Now have an agent here in the UK who also looks after people.
I have had a couple of SM models. Again I had some problems but Ali looked after me.
FEJ are in a different league IMO. With the F14 I think they were somewhat out of their depth. I have their F86 ready to fly. I have not needed parts but have reengineered quite a bit of it. Overall it is not too bad. However the varnish is not compatible with the paint so before it has flown it looks tatty already. This is almost certainly down to me not tightening bolt on elevator machine!
For me they are at the bottom of the list because I see them cutting corners, not doing sufficient R&D (like read a book on the subject in hand), and their total disregard for their customer.
When My replacement wings foir the F-14 arrived (naturally I had to pay for replacement wings since it was my fault that FEJ did not engineer the original ones correctly), they were damaged. I reported this promtly. They only had to call the courier to make a claim, but they just could not be bothered. This is not to mention that they wings were not painted to match my model as agreed, and did not have the flap split which I paid extra for. (also my fault I think, although James did admit he made a mistake in the order, and then retracted his statement).
FEJ have demonstrated to me that they do not give a Sh1t about me, so I would like to announce to the world that the feeling is mutual!

Have a JetLegend L-39 with now much more than 200 flights. Works very good. Have also a JetLegend AlphaJet with less than 10 flights. A few little  things i have to change on both planes. The gear is very very good and has a high stability. No probs with the airframe also.

I too have owned planes by different manufacturers and none of them were perfect, not even BVM, but in all cases except FEJ the customer service was good to excellent. After losing over $20,000 in my F-14 crash, I thought FEJ would want to speak to me directly to try and understand why the plane crashed. Instead they did not speak to me directly and told their reps it was my electronics that caused the crash. The very least they could have done was rspond to my emails and act like they give a s///.

What a riot! Did any of you guys click on the poll results?

Mr. Long and his 57 brothers really like FEJ.

Looks like the whole Yang clan turned out to vote too!

Just hilarious!

I don't know Fender, a lot of us stood and watched flyeagles flying around for the better part of a year before all the gear finally went up. None of this is a surprise to me.

Some people have to burn their hand to learn what the word "hot" means

Interesting all these similar names voted for FEJ. Just another example of the games they play. Geeze, they can't even show any imagination when trying to create fake names. ANOTHER MAJOR BLUNDER BY FEJ ... Just like the time they had their own employee trying to come on RCU claiming to be a satisified customer!
