Nice Anton. It's good to see a turbine manufacture take an active interests in producing EDF airframes.

I just finished a Hawker Hunter with the DS-94 HST fan (largest single fan powered EDF flying in the USA)and I'm working on a Skymaster L-39 and powering it with a Schubeler DS-77 HST fan. I'll be going to a few jet events this year using the L-39 and Hunter to demo the unbelievable power of these fans. I would love to add the A-10 as a demo jet.

Here's video of the Hunter's maiden and a photo of the DS-77 installed in the L-39.

The 100 mm stufans would be perfect
for the smallere F4 especially if they do a light layup.

Peter, they can do an EDF layup, I got a quote late last year for one that way without tanks and exhaust and it was very reasonable. I was thinking a pair of DS-51 HST fans would be really nice in there.

we added the 4 servos for flaps with rudders, and added 3 cylinders with gear doors, only add 350g(0.77lbs), the F-15 EDF weight now is 7050g (15.5lbs) and test flight again,

It would be great to do one. I love turbines but it is getting hard to find a field to fly turbine jets. This is my favourite jet , the only problem is that they are always too heavy. If I get one I will have to show them how to pack it .

Thousands upon thousands of dollars to build and produce these aircraft...yet the video's that get posted are on a 50 dollar handycam. LOL

Having said that, can we please have more details about the F-18. I am going for both the F-15 and 18 as these are the perfect size for my area. When are release dates expected?

More importantly, will Skymaster be offering electronic retracts such as FEJ is now offering. The days of air are coming to an end. That F-18 sounds absolutely amazing in the air. I just noticed the price for the F-15. That is not bad at all!

F16s rock. If you dont like them then dont buy one. But why would you want to restrict others on choice? The more the merrier imo

Hi, modelman992005

i had conversion the X-Treme F-4 to EDF by ds-94 single fan on last year, but i think i want to make the EDF version for reduce the weight, if my development have the time, i will ask them to modify the mould and make the super light version by airex materil for new EDF F-4,

here is video, i tested the F-4 last year,

Amton,

I have a Stumax 110-45 with CC HV160 + 12S 6500mAh packs - which of your jets would like that setup ?

Also where can we see prices of the new EDF jets ?

Can't wait for the F-18!! But I would also like a C version if possible. I'm not completely picky though. Again will skymaster be offering electronic retracts??
