Default What is this?

I downloaded this picture a while back. I didn't take any notes. I know this is a new plane and not sure if it is available yet. The photo is captioned "torpedo". Could anyone tell me the make and manufacturer of this plane? I would someday like to have one.

Default Y/A

It is a Yellow Aircraft and is called a Torpedo. As I understand, it is not available yet, but will be in the future. They have a smaller "turbine trainer" called the StingRay that will be available first and then the Torpedo at a later date.

You may want to do a search on the Torpedo and StingRay here on RCU. They have both been mentioned earlier.

Default No clue

I have never seen this one but, I'm going to keep a close eye n this thread cause as soon someone tells us who the manufacturer is I'm ordering one.

I dont think Its Yellow's cause of the big Canopy, plus look at the size of that thing its HUGE there's a guy laying behind it and the plane is bigger than him, thats sweet
I dont like sport jets but this looks like a great everyday Flyer!!

Default Torpedo at Bay of Quinte

I saw Martin Lefevre fly this beast at Quinte last year. I believe the power was a Jetcat but not sure of the size. Yes it is fairly large too!

Default YELLOW TORPEDO

HI JONNY

it is deffenitly a new yellow a/c design, called torpedo, it will be out at the end of the year.
we have a smaller version do out in july, called stingray, this was displayed at the toledo show in bare bones, the torpedo will be for p-120 class and the stingray is for 500 class turbines .

the torpedo is a little bigger than a hotspot, and the stingray is a little smaller than a hotspot .

price on the stingray is 395.00, and the torpedo's final price has not been set yet .

so there you have it, get your order in soon as guys are already on a list, I have two on order already

hope to meet you at morgan hill ( san jose ) jet rally .

Was this jet ever available? It would be a great platform for a P-20 if it was made small.
