It needs to be resistant to 500 flights, 12 inverted spins followed by 1 FLAT inverted spin.

Randy,
Agree with Glenn. That's my vote, build the replacement fus. We have the technology. I would even cosider splicing in the tail section from the original.

Talked to Randy today. I think we are going to build a new forward section for his Shok. That way we can redesign it into something different.
BTW Chris, I am building the Shok kit ( mach 60) and have already designed and built the retractable gear like we talked. Used pro-link, trailing link struts made for the boomerang nano. it lowered the fuselage by nearly 3 inches, and tucks up clean. Now working on design for A-7 Nose.
