Default Help needed identifying dual valve

OK, I need help identifying the dual valve shown in the right side of the photo; it has the same basic shape and switches as the Jet Tronic Dual Valve shown on the left; however, it has an aluminum base that is thicker than the Jet Tronics base which is plastic. It has a black plastic case for the electronics vs. the silver grey case of the Jet Tronic valve.
Is this an older version of the Jet Tronics Valve?

My issue is I cannot change the programming when I switch the gear switch from one position to the other. When going to the retract out position one of the led’s will flash rapidly for a second, go on solid for a second then switch off, when I switch the retract position to in position the other LED will flash rapidly for a second, go on solid for a second then switch off.

I cannot get the valve on the right to stay on in either position, the Jet Tronic valve shown on the left programs fine.

I have tried the Jet Tronic instructions, no luck…. Any ideas

For reference I also uploaded the Jet Tronics instruction manual

Well that was quick, Arno said this was a Jet Tronics Valve, I was able to find a newer instruction manual on the Jet Tronics Site

http://www.jet-tronics.de/Manuals.html

I think the mystery is now solved, I will know better when i get a chance to try, apparently this may be a newer version of the valve that is PWM (Pulse Width Modulated)

Well now that I have the correct manual downloaded the valve seems to operate as advertised in the manual; however, I can not figure out how to increase the on time as shown the manual ???
I can reset the valve back to factory settings, and I can get a shorter on time, I just can't seem to get a longer time than 3 seconds????

May be a translation issue?

Looks like no jet Tronics valve I have ever seen and I've sold loads
Never adjusted the time, I have delayed the operation with servo slow on my DSX-12..

Dave did you see the PDF document attached in post #8 above?
The only difference is the base is aluminum, the electronic portion is identical, baring no Jet Tronics decal

I'm still waiting for an e-mail from Jet Tronics, I sent the request after hours so it will most likely be next week before I get a response.

Further testing with the valve plumbed into an air supply has shown it work in one direction only but not the other, meaning it is supplying air (from the #2 ports) to the cylinder with either an up or down command; however, it is not exhausting the air from the #3 port on one side of the dual valve. So the gear will move in one direction, lock in place and that is it. If I manually release the air from the cylinder then it will move in the other in the other direction.[]

I guess I will need to wait and see if this is really identified as a Jet Tronics valve to see what the next course of action will be....

That's that bad Karma coming back to you... since you told me that you hate me and my jets for having fixed gear. (lol) The universe want's you to have fixed gear!!!

(sorry, I thought it was funny)

It's a good time. Its small enough that I don't have to take it apart and I only have to carry my small 2 gal fuel jug for an afternoons worth of flying.

I got a little work done on the StarJet. I'd like to fly it before the weather gets too cold.

I'm a little disappointed as I have not received a response to my e-mail queries sent to ([email protected]) and to to ([email protected]) on this valve...
