JetCat P-90RXi details
Had a chance today to look closely at one of the P-90RXis that came in.
Nice detail as always.
Compact unit and the box looks empty!

can you post a pic with the front cover off? I'd love to see how they crammed it all in there. That probably took more engineering than the rest of the engine !!!!

Pump and Ecu are inside the cover! Amazing, just the battery is oustside, the only conection is the power cord?

I keep wondering why people want all the stuff under the hood so to speak

Not hard to figure out, less to install and find a space for. If you don't have to mount a pump, a filter and 2 solenoids then why wouldn't that be better?

Didn't see this till home and away from turbines!
They chopped the corner of the fuel pump off and bolted it in
Power is around 22-23lb
I like the valves being under cover, not so sure about the pump, more weight behind the balance point! Long line from the tank to turbine possibly means the header should be mounted nearer the turbine (been meaning to ask JC what the max length of 4mm tube can be...or run 6mm nearly all the way, then step down to 4mm just before the turbine...
Its driven by peoples need for simplicity, certainly some airframes it will work great. I may stick one on my BVM BobCat Composite, its a bit nose heavy anyway and installation will be super simple!

The Rx 140 and 180 you can just unplug and change the valves (new valves have mounting holes in a new orientation)
I guess this is the same

I'm the one who got the P-90RXi from Bob wilcox and it was tested over and over
and is a true solid 25lb turbine. I have it in JL viper jet from Global Jetclub.
Regards Mike

I have been waiting on th jetcat p90 rxi for quite a while but a bit disappointed at what i am hearing about the thrust and now with the pump under the hood . I have my flash ready waiting for a power plant . I was looking at the kingteck 140g , does any one have one in a uf and how is the perforamance and reliability and can one of you experienced guys out there please do me a favour and pm me a recommendation. I already have p80se but because of the kero plug it makes for difficult installiation , the wing touches it and i do not want to modify the wing . PLEASE i am not looking for brand bashing or negative comments , i would like some serious and honest input .
thanks
