For the second time my 12x has had a strange error when turned on. When I turned it on it said "wrong module, disconnect and replace" then it gives an option to continue without rf.
But this is the 2.4 model. So, I pop off the cover to the rf deck and reseat the pcb, and then it's fine.
Has anyone heard of this problem?

FYI Horizon phone support talked to the tech department which said they have seen this problem and that I should send it in and it will be resolved. They couldn't say what the problem is, only that I should be confident that it will be repaired, unlike the typical intermittent problem. It only happened twice but after the second time I just can't trust it with my beloved jets. 8 days turn around plus ship time...

Are there pins in the back of the 2.4 only 12x? I have heard of problems (wear, inconsistent mating) with the pins in the RF module that can 'cause problems/intermittant issues if the rear module is being handled alot.
I have the 12x MV, which is the combined, 72 mhz (what's that right? LOL) and 2.4 ghz rado, and I never touch the rear module because of this.

the rf pcb does have pins but it's never removed like the module versions, but the problem does sound like what you described, intermittent connections. Just sent it out today and I'll follow up here as an fyi.
