I have to have air gauges in my models because my memory is terrible. I can take a quick glance and know that I did air it up.......or not..........without having to hook up the compressor .......which is sitting back on the table.

Yeah thats been my experience as well, i love them for fuel applications. I have even tried the fancy cutters with perfect 90 degree cuts and all.

Yeah I went back to using them because after always being able to see what u have is just a warm an fuzzy, plus its another way of detecting a leak that may have started after your last flight.

That might be the issue there, I only use Festo airline with Festo fittings. Never an issue. I also use Festo lines when I *have* to use a Festo fitting in the fuel system.

Any of you guys with the Futaba FASSTest telemetry will be interested in this. Carsten Groen in Denmark, is working on a 1"x1" Pcb with a pressure transducer that will telemetry back to you your Tx the actual air pressure in you system. No need for gauges. You can use up to 4 in a system on different telemetry slots. I would anticipate that Ollie at ultimate jets will sell them within the next few months here in the US.

Thats a pretty cool thing, I have already started looking at some telemetry stuff for my 18mz with fuel flow so having air telemetry would just round it out LOL
Jim im glad you have had success, I have never seen "festo" airline on any of the vendors I purchase from. I personally have had better success with the barb style so I go with what works for me.
