Default Need some help with paint codes
Okay trying to help SM with a scheme, they offer a scheme on their website but say they have never painted any like it so they need paint codes. Can anyone provide a paint code for the two blues in the pictures? something they can use to mix paint would be really helpful. Thanks
The darkest blue is the main color its not the typical aggressor blues its kinda bluish green

I don't get the question. The FS codes are shown right on the picture you posted.

The paint colors are 35109, 35190, and 36320. Only the 35109 has an identifiable description of Light Blue International (this is the darkest of the 3).

As Matt stated, the federal standard codes are on the left side of the image.

those are the testor paint codes, they need actual mix codes. They can't seem to use that, I sent them the exact stuff.

They are Federal Standard numbers. Testors markets paints that claim to match the FS colors, they are not unique Testors numbers.

You can get a reference color chip or fan deck and then the paint supplier can match it. Or buy the testors paint and send it to them. Or paint up some cards with the testors and send it to them so they can color match it.

The Federal Standard for the colors you are seeking fall under Fed Std 595B. I keep a copy of it handy.
Many PPG dealers can mix to the formula specified by FS595B.
They can mix as much or as little as you want.

Hmmm well im not sure what the break down is, I though the same thing. We sent them the above so maybe that will work, I sent them a teal green like that and it ended up dark green

Just order the individual paint cards from www.FED-SPECS.com and take them to a PPG paint dealer and have them scan them for the code.

That is all of the FS colors that cross over to PPG. Doesn't look like any of your FS numbers are on that list though. Brand code would be the PPG number, don't know if any of the color names on there are now the same color with a different number though.
