Default New Kingtech models K45 and turboprop coming in April?

Just found a few hits today on the kerostart.com forums, and also on the Kingtech Luxembourg site. No details on size or weight yet, but promising.

Barry or Dirk and comments on this?

I was told the k60 turboprop will be out in April but the 45 is still in testing and will be out sometime during the summer. Right now they are focused on getting the turboprop released.

I think the 45 would be a perfect size for the mini Avanti.

Does anyone know the approximate specs of the K45? It looks to be in Wren 44 Gold territory so it will be interesting to see how it compares in terms of size, weight and fuel economy.

It will be Wren 44 sized. 1" shorter and with internal kerostart/valves

I would personaly choose an airframe one size larger then the mini advanti for this size of engine.

I've heard it's put on ice to make larger engines instead. Probably a clever thing to do.

Anything over $3,000 is too much imho. I've always been really, really impressed with Boli Muentes' Turboprop Tucano, the one he flies upside down so much. What motor does he use in that? Never mind - just found out he uses an SPT-10 which puts out 10KWatts.

Boli had a Jetcat in his Tucano but he sold that a while back.

Price looks pretty good to me. A jetcat SPT5 is $5195.00 K60TP is around $3750.00

He rebuilt the Tucano and the last version was powered by an SPT-10 which costs even more.

Off topic Gunradd, I saw my first yellow aircraft F-22 this last weekend in Houston. Very impressive flier

Are you going to make it over to Mississippi afterburner?

Coming from the guy who put a turbine on a Swist! LOL I think the P20 would be a little small and I fly off of a rough grass field. I also though about the Wren 44, the lambert ones are a mystery here in the states...

Hehe, I always try to mate the proper engine to a proper airframe to get the best envelope. In my mind the 90mm planes are better off a little lighter. Looking at my engine comparsion chart you see the Wren 44 has a huge starter making it fit further back in the airframe, the shorter Kingtech has an advantage here. Just one way to find out :-)

Some more specifications of the K45G and the K60TP are released, see the links ;-) or the Kingtech website.

Would love to but it takes almost 7 hrs from my place just to cross Texas. Then Louisiana and Miss. Won't be able to get there. Heard it's one of the "biggies"

As Far as I know you are not allowed to sell in GErmany. Id like BArry to chime in and say what is the policy of Kingtech eventually.
We all know that in Europe everybody is allowed to buy their stuff from anywhere. it's their Right. Kingtech still has a policy of exclusive distributors. So if a Turbine is sold by a Luxembourg company for example to a customer Germany the Luxembourg distributor should receive a Fine of 500 USD and has his account suspended.
That's what happened to a German Friend of mine and Barry also suspended his guarantee and service support.

And I also don't understand why he has the right to declare ANYONE that he cannot start a turbine.. like trim up stick up and stick down is rocket science. -_-
Comon Mr. BArry Lou. Please answer the question. And what happens if someone travels to another country.. buys a turbine there and goes back to his country and registers it?

EDIT: and since someone has Exclusive distribution he can sellt o local hobbys stores to resell right? somebody explain to the Violin guy how things work in Europe. if this is not accepted why is anybody advertising for E-commerce sales?
