Default Carbon tubes walls?

Hi Rebel owners,
I was lucky to grab a bargain (a crashed Rebel Pro with left wing missing: destroyed at crash) for the price of thrust pipe (the pipe is included). The airframe seems to be in a very good shape and I plan to build left (or both) wings by myself and use Frank FT180 turbine as a power house.
Please, could somebody give me specs (wall thickness) of wing and stab tube? Plus the information what kind of tube is used (straight rowing or fabric texture on outside)?
Thanks much,
Richard

Richard,

The first thing you need to figure out is if this aircraft is an original Pirotti Rebel or the newer Comp Arf version they are slightly different.
Also I fly mine on a K100, so a FTE180 might be a little much for the aircraft

The Pro is large model and the 180 would fly it fine, I had a P200 in mine when i was in Texas.

Yes it is Pro and probably Pirotti version (it has aluminum tube in vertical fin). So 180N turbine will be on low power site rather than overpowered :-) . I've got a reply from other channel that carbon wing tube has 2mm wall and stab tube should be 1.5mm. Could that be true?

I fly a Pirotti Rebel Pro with Kingtech 180. It was not under powered. I was a great match. I had to plan ahead for long vertical manuvers.

I know a guy who rebuild one and was able to order the Carf parts and they fit. You might want to check with them.

I'm surviving, post military life and all, I had to grow up and get a real job but I still enjoy jets.
