SM 1/3.75 Hawk in T-45C Navy Centennial Scheme
I was fortunate enough to receive one of the first SM 1/3.75 Hawk kits to come over from Anton. I chose the TW-2 NAS Kingsville Centennial of Naval Flight T-45C scheme. I'll be assembling it over the next couple of months while monitoring the build thread by Flightwerkz.
Undecided on turbine as of now. JR 8711HV's on main flight controls.
I'll be adding some T-45 scale details, though it will not be 100% perfect, e.g. I do not plan to modify the nose gear to tandem wheel at this time. I do plan to add the H tailplanes and (non-functional) speed brakes on each side of the rear fuse as well as the tail hook.
This will not be a full build thread, but I will post pics along the way so let me know if there is something in particular that you would like to see photos or a video of.
Photos of the subject aircraft are below and initial photos of the model after unboxing will follow.

I have flown this setup in everything from Kingcats to 1/6 scale F-16's to 40% 3D aerobatic planes with no issues. I'm sure many will disagree (and that's OK ... to each their own) and I am not a technology averse person, but I prefer this simple setup. This jet will be much less abusive on the system than a 3D aerobatic plane, in my opinion.

I have always wondered where there isn't an official t-45 from skymaster, they have the Mk66, hawk 100 but no t-45, Seems like with minimal modifications they could have it. from what I see the only things that are different is the t-45 has tandem front nose gar and they air brakes come out from the side; also the tail hook.

I'm hoping that they will come out with a tandem nose wheel setup so I can convert mine down the road. Since doors are already done, etc I'm just going to leave it like it is for now. Most of the other items I'll add, except airbrakes on side will be non-functional.

Before I switched to JR DMSS I used the JR Power Safe Rx's in all my jets along with a JR 12X Tx.all DSMX. The big box is really a 30 AMP power bus using 2 batteries for power. I always used real A123s for easy recharging in the jet. The real receivers are the satellites. I always used 4 with a data logger. I watched the numbers and moved the satellites to get the best reception and oriented the antennas in different directions. (the numbers change every flight based on location, number of airplanes being flown and other factors but if one satellite consistently shows hi numbers it needs to be moved) It is a very simple system and I never had a problem.
