Are the air inlets and fuel tanks the same for single turbine/twin mid turbine/twin tail turbine configurations?

I second the setup question. How do I sequence the unlocking valve with Up valve?

I was out of channels dx18 so I ended up adjusting the servo and throw to the point the servo had to travel allot before it made the gear retract. The unlock valve only needs to actuate a split second before the Mains go up. So the valve was on a Y with the UP valve servo. If I had more channels I would have sequenced it in the transmitter.

For gear down it really does not need the extra valve. Its only needed for gear up. Without it your gear will work perfect on the ground but not work in the air.

Also on a side note. I installed an air restrictor inline with the main gear and that allowed the gear to retract fine but gear came up real slow so added the valve.

I didn't installed another valve on the unlocking pistons, I only soften the static locking springs.
Gear is operating fine on ground in my workshop and in the air.
However, I have to be careful when handling the F18 when radio is off or when air pressure is low, because the locking force of the spring is weaker, but no problem at this time...

Anton, I was wondering why the nose gear light is halfway inside the fuselage? Can this be fixed? The gear is a highly visible area and a highlight on the f-18 and for 2600$ this should be correct. I was told this by a previous owner and sure enough after looking at pictures here it looks like the gear is mounted too high in the fuselage.

Hi Anton, im not talking about the strut portion, im referring to the the light on the top part of the gear that is halfway hidden by the fuselage at the top.

I have a question for people flying one of these or have flown one. I was wondering about CG locations looping31 mentioned add 700grams to the nose from his flight experience with it. Makes me wonder if the stock CG is pushing the bad side of the tail heavy range.

No big issue after these flight tests.
Inflate tyres sometimes grate on the housing and lateral gear doors, I enlarged gear housing and slightly modified gear doors.
With the user guide CG, I had auto pitch at high alpha and I was barely able to escape from a flat spin so I put 700g more lead in the nose cone. It seems to be better now.

Could you post some more vids of your F-18? I love the way you fly it very scale like.

Mine felt a little tail heavy from the recommended CG and I was in the process of adding some nose weight before my crash. Its not far off but makes it tough when landing because the plane wants to float real bad.
