Not really a build with these BVM pnp's. All I can say about it is wow...they did an awesome job on the Bounty Hunter I bought. My only complaint is the servos...I wish we had the option to use our own. The wiring and airline plumbing is way better than I have ever done. To me they're worth every penny...I can't even paint this good! I also have their 1/6 F16.

Haven't flown it yet, waiting on JR to get xbus harnesses in. If you had your motor, radio components and uat on hand, this thing could be flight ready in a few hours. No pics yet.

I have been watching this thread From the beginning. I saw the jet at FL and new I had to have one. That gear is just awesome. I must admit that what held me back was that it is a PNP. I am so anal when I build that I am not sure how comfortable I can be with a PNP.

With all that said, I took advantage of BVM'S Cyber Monday Sale and bought one of these babies. Patti was so awesome to deal with. I ordered a Blue Angles version. Patti said she recently delivered one of these and even contacted the customer who was nice enough to share some photos. The jet is externally painted, has all the markings and looks amazing. I was able to order the number of my choice and could even specify the pilots name under the canopy! I bought an Elite Force Aviator..Blue Angel #5 LCD Scott Kartvedt. His name and number are on his flight suit so that is the name I asked the factory to put on the jet.

I am super excited to get this jet and wish you could see how she looks in this scheme. Maybe Chris will post some pictures of his. As far as the PNP, I will give it a good once over and open up and redo the tanks if needed and things like that. I am sure I will do some interior painting and insulating.

Really really really really excited to get this beauty!

Joel I am with you on this. I only use high end Futaba or JR servos. I have not heard anything bad about the PNP servos however. Have there been any issues? Can anyone share their experience with these servos?
Thanks!

I am curious who has ordered a BVM 1/7.75 scale PNP F-18 and has actually received it? Can you please post your order date and the date you received the plane?
I am curious as I ordered one at Georgia Jets last year (the end of September) and still have not received my plane. BVM promised 8-10 weeks to deliver, it is just over 19 weeks and still no plane. I talk to Patty pretty regularly, the delivery date keeps getting pushed back.
a couple of weeks ago she told me the plane would ship before the factory shuts down for a month on Feb 18th. I called today and she told me the factory has already shut down and my plane has not shipped. Looking at March now.
I was wondering what other people are experiencing with their orders from BVM.
I have one of their 1/6 PNP F-16s and are very happy with it, but I am beyond frustrated with the constant delays waiting for this F-18. Thinking of giving up and going with another plane.

Been 10 weeks for me. Ordered mine the week of Dec1st. No jet yet. I have been trying to get confirmation from the factory on one of the markings and repeated emails and calls to Patty have turned up no answer over the past 10 weeks! She said the factory is not responding to her inquiries.

My order went through with the UK dealer early November, (Thanks Jeff )
I’m expecting 8-12 weeks excluding Chinese New Year, so guessing sometime in April....
it will arrive, when it arrives, it’s not like I’m looking at a long build..,.,

I ordered mine right after Maj Woody (First week in Dec) and was told the same thing, 8 to 10 weeks. I'm guessing Patty's phone was busy today because I called was told the same thing, that the factory was already shut down for CNY. If they haven't shipped one ordered at Super Jets South, I believe BVM should let us know what's going on.

I talked to Patty a couple of times today. She is, of course, caught in the middle. From what she said, my jet is complete, and waiting for QA then packing and shipping. Bummer I will not have it for FJ, but that is the way it goes. I did get a picture of it.
