They usual gang is planning a outing at HOTMAC to celebrate the 4th and burn jet fuel and have fun. We're camping for the whole weekend and planning a fish fry cookout among other things. Might even make some homemade Ice cream. !! Bring anything you want to fly... Field wide open. Come on out and have some fun !!

I'm glad it's gonna work out for ya. My main concern with you absence was Debra not being there with her unbelievably awesome dessert treats !!! I need to get her number in case such emergency arises again. Crisis averted !!! I guess what i'm trying to say is, If you were in the hospital in traction with bolts in your head, Debra always has a place at the flying field with the gang with or without you or the treats !!! And of course Lacy is a given !!!

Weather looking good, but a tad warm.. Pack the sunscreen and the cooler !! I'l be there Friday and start the festivities. My first time to HOTMAC for me this year !!... Ridiculous !!! Time to do some flying at my favorite place !! Long overdue and looking forward to it. Hope to see ya;ll there !!

I'll be there,, BTW we have no water at the field, corps shut it off due to the flooding, I'll be there with my camper, and have some water on board, and will have a 15 gallon tank of water in the clubhouse. Lookin forward to this weekend,,it's gonna be a hot ass weekend though!!

Just talked to Steve Bird (club prez) and he said the fireworks on Lake Waco will be SUNDAY night. The best view of the fireworks is from the flying site.
