Did you try "thread tools --> Display all images" ?

There are a couple end shots and LG mounting shots and I'm not sure what you want... but if you do that you can see them all.

Install the 120 and fly it. Barry is using a 100 or 120 on his and it flies well.

Jeff

I am pleased to say that all the paid orders will be completed this month and delivering beginning of April. For those of you on the waiting list, I will reach out to you in the order I received the requests to see if you are still interested in purchasing a T-1. I will only contact the # of customers that the factory can build and deliver in that month and continue in this manor until all the customers on the list are satisfied. At that time, I will open the orders on our website on a limited basis, based on the monthly production from the factory. From here forward, we will only take the orders that factory can deliver in the 4-6 week time frame. This process will also be in force for the T-3 & Euro fighter as well.

After speaking to the factory about our electric retracts, they have found a set of electric brakes that they are confident in and all the electric retracts will come with electric brakes as well. The price will remain the same.

That's all for now,

Dirk
Pacific RC Jets

It has been a month since this was posted. Is it possible to get an update for those of us with paid orders.

Patrick,

Like my post said, the planes being built in March would wrap up those orders, and they have been shipping planes weekly. It is just now the beginning of April, and they are finishing up the end of March built planes and getting them ready to ship. If you remember, your plane was done per Special request, and with them having to alter the scheme for you, your T-1 took longer than normal. It should ship at the end of this week. You should also count on the EMS shipping will take 3-6 weeks to get to you. If you want it faster and want to DHL ship it, write me an email and let me know.

Regards,

Dirk

+1.
I'm using a K100 in mine too.
Off grass.
I'm at 28 lbs with fuel in the UAT, 28.8 lbs with wing tanks.
First flights of the year today, looking forward to logging many flights this year.
has the original tank (no smoke), about 1" of fuel left after about 7.5mins.

Sean,
Do you have your front nose gear door split? It looks like it from the picture, would you mind posting a pic of your nose gear door and where it is split please.

I know it doesn't really need it, but I am putting a Cortex in mine for those windy days, which is a lot of the time up here,....

The question is, since I am running a Smartfly Power expander, does it go between the Smartfly and the servos or the receiver and the Smartfly?

Patrick, yes I split my nose gear door. Here are some photos, hope they are helpful.
The front section is 2.25" long. I still need to add a little black paint to clean up the appearance but it does work without issue so far. The front section is spring loaded and closed when the gear retracts and the rear is air driven by a small air cylinder. I used a long control horn as a mount for it. The gear are driven by a UP3/UP4 valve combo. super simple. As I fly from grass I'd prefer to use a UP2/UP4 combo so the rear door would close when the gear is up and down but the nose steering servo sits to low on the strut to allow that.

Thank you for the pics...I honestly thought you had figured out a way to get the rear section to close....but I do like how you have the front door setup on the spring.

Desert, I would contact SmartFly. The power expander (s) are a bit different and have some other circuitry in them that changes the puls/servo reversing and other adjustment in the them.

Why use?

I have 5 more flights on the T-1 and many touch and goes with the new springs. The ground handling is greatly improved with the stiffer springs. I'm still tweaking the settings and I'll post what works for me when I figure it out. This jet flies like an early '80s era pattern plane. It seems to corner pretty well and giant top hats and square loops are a blast!

Tailwinds,

John

Oh LOL

Because my powersafe had to be sent back to Horizon and all I have left is an AR12020

I just like the piece of mind that the power isn't being filtered through the receiver but being applied directly to the servos.
