I spent $500 on a rolling CG stand, why not one of these? It will lift 225 pounds and has 4 adjustable height settings... And my birthday is tomorrow.... ;-)

I 'dunno Mike, looks like it depends on having a desktop of some sort attached to get some strength to the thing. What are you planning on putting on the top to work on and stabilize it?

Thanks Chris :-) Gary, I read the fine print, its pretty rigid. I have enough stands now, but it would be nice for the back as we age.... LOL on my 47th birthday I'm typing this...

They use those in full size glider repair shops for the fuselage(all composite for the typical modern ship) but never seen one applied to a model. Nice.

Yeah you do get to do a lot of bending in your profession. Happy Birthday!

I got 30 years of stretcher hauling and Firefighting. I'll be 66 next month and trust me, as a Battalion Chief once told me; "You 'gotta be tough to be old" and I'm finding out he was right..... lol
