So I have been flying turbines for 4 years now and the High/buzz is gone. I'm teaching 2 new jet guys how to fly, and every time They fly I see the Buzz when they land. I miss that feeling
I was flying my Carf Eurosport and did some tight back flips and high alpha stuff and got the buzz back for the first time in a long time.
So im looking for a 3D jet and it can't only be Carf that makes 3D jets is it?
They got the Rooki 2, 3D Eurosport (already got a regular one) and the new J10.
Are there other good 3D jets out there to look at?
Thanks Mike

This one is designed to do 3D and have heard good reports on it......

How about the Avanti S
I saw Sebastian Silvestri fly this routine at JetPower 2015 and was the best flying display I have ever seen. Spins and tumbles of all types and a knife edge loop.
As I recall this was powered with a 25 Kg thrust engine It would give you something to aim for.

I second the Avanti. I was there and saw this flight up close and personal, as they say, and it still never gets old watching a video of it. I saw the plane up close afterwards and convinced myself it was stock. So anyone could buy into the performance. The other very impressive plane was the demo he flew using the red Pilatus PC-21 turboprop but it's a different type if cool factor.

Most of the 3D ready turbine models out there seem to cost an arm and a leg...but out of all that I have seen the Rookie on a TV pipe looks the most bang for your buck.

If you want to go on the affordable side take a look at the foamy HSD Mirage 2000 or F-16. I believe HSD will be offering a thrust vectoring setup for them
I have the SuperViper with a P-60 and it's a great little sport jet.

As far a 3D jets, one of the Richmond guys has a CARF J10, and its hard to beat that for 3D capability, speed, and simplicity. Its a great flyer, and easy to assemble and operate at the field. The price is fairly reasonable too - at least compared to the QQ F-16 and AD Rafale. They've got some new paint schemes that I haven't seen in the US, but you could always get the less-expensive parade scheme and repaint it...

If the 3D trend continues as it did in prop planes, how are jet meets going to mix hovering jets with 7 or 8 other aircraft in the pattern? Sorry to sound like I'm raining on the parade, but I see a storm coming.

A spotter's job is to make sure that the pilot knows where all the other jets flying are...

Nobody has ever seen the Mephisto fly, furthermore I am pretty sure it is not a "real" 3D jet. The question of course is what you think a 3D jet actually is. If 3D'ing to you means being able to do a flat spin, a flip or a high alpha fly-by, most sport jets with a retro fitted thrust vector will be able to do that. Real 3D maneuvers like hovering, torque-rolling or very very slow & low maneuvers can only be accomplished with a plane has the proper thrust to weight ratio. Although the Avanti S (the non fiber glass version) has that, it is a handful to handle and delta wings are far easier to 3D. Therefore if you are into "real" 3D, the best options are the Comp-ARF J10 (the best bang for the buck at the moment that will be happy with a 180 size motor), the brand new & revised Comp ARF Europort Ultimate and the Aviation Jets Rafale (that one being bigger and heavier needs at least a single 250 or twin 140's or even better twin 160's).
