I have seen and heard of two different people people in the past talking about making a large T38. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard anything about this. Or are any of the companies got this in there future project list

I know of a 1/4.5 (118” length) one that is in the early stages of plug preparations. Its a Later T38C with the larger inlets intended to be for large twin EDF’s or a single fully bypassed turbine.

Not heard anything about a company making them, but there's a guy in Southern California that scratch built a HUGE one out of foam and brings it to the St George, UT flyins.

Here's a link to a video;

There are other pictures in that thread of this model and another video where the battery pack fell out of it and he got it back on the ground with virtually no damage. Great piece of flying.

I know that Tomahawk has a huge F-5 that’s 3.5 meters long. I’m sure it could be modified fairly easily to a T-38 much like people convert Hawks to T-45’s.

that should be possible. The EDF design is for 110-120 units and a pair of P120’s has been tested to fit.
