Default Source for thrust tubes

Hello,
I am back to work on my 1/4 scale Sterner Vampire after a four year hiatus. I am using a Jet Central Rhino for power.
I need a source for a thrust tube,I also don't know how to measure for it, I know there has to be a gap between the bell and the exhaust on the turbine,
Thanks,
Jerry B

Jerry,

Without hesitation I would recommend Gary at Jet Tech. https://www.jettechusa.com/

I have purchased a number of fuel tanks from Gary, and I contacted him a few weeks ago about making a pair of custom exhaust pipes for my scratch built Buccaneer project. These pipes aren't a simple tube, but a complex 2-piece angled design.

He couldn't have been more helpful and after multiple calls and e-mails we worked through adjusting the pipe design into a solution that he felt would work and that he could build.

We face-timed today as he was working through the build where he had a few questions that I could answer. The pipes were looking good.

Joey Tamiz who used to build all the pips for TamJets, started his own business. Don't know if he's got a webpage but here's a link to his Facebook.

There is also a guy in Texas, I believe near Huston, he builds pipes for Elite Aerosports and others but I'll be danged if I can remember his name right now. If I figure it out, I'll update this post.

damn website will not let me post a Facebook link.

Look for J.E.T Pipes.

Well EA might have branched out due to volume issues or such, but my Shockwave and my Havoc SS both have, or had in the case of my Shockwave..... pipes that were built by this guy in Texas. The last time I spoke to Scott Marr, that is where the pipes were coming from.....

Yes that is the same guy. Joey Tamez of JT Hobbies in Fort Worth Tx. Give him a call and he can make any size pipe you need. I am using 3 of his pipes now. Very high quality, easy to work with and affordable. I highly recommend him.

Hiep built the pipes for Tamjets. Joey is doing them for EA. Both are great options.
