Default AD scorpion setup.

I have an AD scorpion that is ready for maiden. Powered by a 140 turbine, Core radio, PB pioneer and Igyro sat.
it is set up as in the manual, including mixes flap/elevator.
COG is set on the main wheels, with the tank empty it will stay on its tail if you lift the nose.

does anyone have any hints/tips/tricks/ do's and dont's on the scorpion before I take her up?

Roger

I only have 3 super scorpions and the correct cg is right in front of the main struts not the center of the struts, the jet has lost more movement on the elevators than recommended by instructions, do at least 3 flight modes for elevators from recommended to much more, when flaps are deployed the elevators going up at least 12mm,you have plenty power so don’t worry about that.good luck maiden the jet.

I've never used different flight modes (dual rates) always on high rates. But i will increase elevator throws to max and try from there as ive noticed on other forums that the flaps somewhat blanks out elevator function when on full flaps.

For maiden flight i have the 3 different surface positions and they have 3 different switches for each surface to make the best flight setup this make the landing less stressful
