It looks like the XiCoy unit that several vendors sell.

$350 new, the deflection meters are a chunk more as well, the case is not always included in the base price nor is the Blue Tooth adapter for your phone being extra as well.

Here's one vendor I really like;

Seems like your actual question is whether folks have + or - experiences with this unit. I’d suggest a less broad, more specific thread title to get more participation. Something like “Sky RC CG Machine: Any Good?” might help attract the users who can help.

Personally, I would have changed the thread title to get more eyeballs.

The Sky RC/ Xicoy weight load cells will help with larger models determining what the c/g actually is as you change ballast along the established moments calculations. Key word is calculations. As a full scale mechanic tasked in weight and balance specs, it takes allot of calculations and layout to set it up properly. It seems as if allot of sales in these products have buyers remorse when they try to use them and not comprehending all the layout of level and data points to establish moments and proper c/g location.

Id like to get these loads cells at some point as my models get 30+lbs............

As a licensed A&P Mechanic who's done both full scale CG calculations as well as model jets, I can assure you that the computer interface on the XiCoy unit is REALLY NEAT compared to all the calculating nonsense required with full scale stuff. One key component of that is that the addition of the iPhone interface and the required sensor are WELL worth the investment.....
