I'm going to Miami next week and was wondering if there are some jet related things to see there (model shop, flying field, or full size museum?)
I know I should have gone to Orlando area but....

Hi i live in Miami, yes we have jet flying fields, carlos for rti. also has his turbine repair shop here, we have wings over miami that is a war time museum, I will be out there flying this coming saturday morning , will be test flying a bvm king cat and a new tom cook hustler. also monday is a holiday here and will be out flying all day.

do you fly from an airfield next to the museum?
I have to pick up a large Y/a F18 kit that I paid 10 months ago and the guy doesn't want to mess up with shipping..near Palm Beach, otherwise nothing is planned yet , the museum sounds good.

RC Hobbies is closed on Wednesday. Their number is 954-721-5720. As mentioned, talk with Rob. They sometimes fly jets at Markham park in Lauderdale on Wednesday.

I also highly recommend RC Hobbies. Its well worth the drive. great bunch of people and they know what theyre doing.
