Azblue,
Countryboy is right, you have to take in Superman sometime.....it is like no other meet...Jerry Caudle has refined this meet down to a 'T'.....
I have not flown at this meet but did get to spot for the "old man" BV ond time, when he was showing me the ends and outs of the Mig 15 I had purchased. With all the pros and cons I have heard and read about Bob's plus's and minus'es....anyone that is in business understands time management is/can be an issue..Bob has always treated me well, but I try not to waste his time either.....
But, Ya gotta go, I have been three times just to watch the big boy's play and have not regretted it. May even make it 4 this this year...there is nothing like the Superman meet for Jet's.
Attendance was down a bit last year as 9-11 put a damper on this and other things, 185 last year verus 245 the year before is close figures, but I bet it will come back. The only thing that would hold it back may be with the new airport security measures and the ability to transport the turbines and aircraft.......but ya jast have to go to understand.......
Via la Superman----and a great big thanks to Jerry Caudle for all the work he has done to keep this meet going...

Hi Andy,
The events I get out to regularly are the St. George Jet Rally and the Denver Jet Rally. The field at Denver is an awesome place to fly with a 700' runway and a 500' x-wind runway. Granted it's not as great as St. George it's still great flying. The dates are June 7-9 this year and any of the Denver or Colorado guys can tell you more detail on it. It's definately worth attending!
Cheers,
Mark West
