Default RAM 750+ starting parameters?

I'm in the process of testing my new RAM 750+. I had two faultless starts on the turbine when the ambient temperature was 80F. I tried to start the turbine today in 60F and was not successfull.

Can someone share with me the starting parameters that are temperature compensated.

The propane/butane mix is 70 - 30

I even tried starting it the old fashion way using only propane vapor but no luck off my other RAM start box. The turbine would fire and then the fire would go out after about 2 seconds.

You may have some residual butane / propane mix in the cartridge that is not allowing you to fully fill the start cartridge. Please try pulling off the festo connector to the start cartridge to bleed off any excess gaz mix. Then refill the cartridge. You should get a good stream ( 2 seconds ) of clear fluid go into the cartridge. That should get the temp up and starts consistant. I do this for every run and get flawless starts on all my engines.

Peter

Not this year as I am heading down next week to LA to spend some time with Bob Wilcox at JetCat LLC for training on the JetCat line as well as on the new turbine helicopter. HeliJet R/C is doing very well at the moment and has expanded to include even more airframe and engine manufacturers. As always, I am here to assist my customers on ANY product they have purchased from us but I require training as well to keep up with the ever changing technology.

As you know helis are a long time love of mine and I promised myself a turbine heli this year! I'll post pics and details on the website soon.

Say Hi to all the guys and I'll definitely be there next year!
