I'm not sure what happen with the flames. My camera lady Jill just happened to be taking pictures of the F16 at the right time.
We have been looking at that one all day. I will try to find the owner of the F16 tomorrow, and get you guys an answer.

The show is awesome - now we are just debating what King Cat color scheme we need to get on order!! It is truely the year of the BVM King Cat. A few shots for those that could not make it.

Can't miss the new Larry/Vern Kramer creation, i.e. the top King Cat photo in RC Widow's post.....their signature paint scheme and AMT-400 power gives them away.....these guys are something else.....

Hope they make it up to Winemac so I can see it live action....

Got a couple flights on the Euro yesterday. Followed by beer and shrimp. Everything after that was simply why I love Florida Jets.

On a low note, after last night Johnny Hernandez is now my best friend, on a high note, I got four more hours of sleep and flying a Eurofighter is awesome, first landing was, well, a first landing, got it dialed in now though.

Rocketman, Happy Birthday dude, I wanted to call at the "time" but we were all tied up.

Have fun boys,

Sean

Hey Sean....after all that partying, you are gonna have to come out to AZ Jets just to dry out.....we'll send you over to Canyon Country, put you in the steam room and on the treadmill and you'll be all better

Looks like I am missing a good one.....no mud for a change.....Frank did a bang-up job for the event....

By that, I think that I can safely assume that the IHOP women finally were introduced to "Mr. Happy" (It took long enough. Did Dave wear protection? Never ride without a helmet!)

Few more.

FLY RC magazine was the main sponsor (along with ZAP) for Florida Jets and will bring a very detailed event report with several pages of high resolution photos in one of the next issues.

Tom Dodgen and Rob Janiger did some pretty cool formation flying. Piciture is grabbed from video, so the quality is a bit grainy. They are quite a bit away from the field, but did some of the closest formation flying i have seen

I took a couple pics of the dv8r. I thought the airplane was excellent, and well flown this weekend. I'll post pics tomorrow that I took. The only question I heard come up on that plane is what's gonna happen if you have a gear up landing? The nose looks like it would be damaged, and it's a wood fuse, so that could be quite a bit of work. ??? Don't know, but the airplane was flown flawlessly many many times this weekend.

Excellent slow flight capability, if you're flying a roo, this would definately make a very good replacement and the flight performance would be a major major improvemnt, and I think you can use the Robart 630's in it.

Yea.. That is Rig three. Totally new design.
I used three tosters and a 4 head VCR for
the reaction control system.

Havine trouble getting it to hover.

Shaun,

Here are some of the pictures I shot of the DV8R. Pat McCurry flew it constantly, and presented it very good with precision aerobatics and both fast and extreme slow flight passes. Don't think this plane will be any worse off in a gear up landing than most other low wing jets. The low swept nose is more an optical illusion due to the top curve of the fuselage.
