Anybody hear how Quinte is looking? Im sure some of the guys are allready there. As the crow flies it's only 55 miles from me over lake ontario and it's pouring rain outside right now here.

Jeff
Jeff: Don's orginal is here but the old D&B was the place. Remember those open vats of hot sauce and those huge vats of them dill pickles. You could turn your burger into a pickle... hot sauce tower. Don's orginal don't have any of that.
We can fix you up at north hampton to fly something anytime.

I was supposed to be there with the Whiplash as a demo, and guess what, it is pouring rain and will be like that for the next 4 days.

Bummer

JohnVH: Fly it first... paint it after. What can it hurt. Just got off the phone with my trainer, A couple of CD's at a couple of events and some other guys around here. This storm is while not unusual a spinner. Rather then passing through and off to the Atlantic it's spinning in a circle around us. I feel so sad for so many that had great plans for this weekend. A some what local jet fly and a bunch of local fun flys. One of which would have seen the Roo fly. To that end like I did most of yesterday im going to take a long nap and pretend today did not happen. My trainer who I just got off the phone with had his 40% cap nailed on the wing by a flying lawn chair. I told him get those GD plane's back in the truck. He said he will have to wait for the rain to let up. A bunch of guys had to help him turn his tent into a lean too because it was being pulled out of the ground. Im sorry for ALL the guys who are enduring this as we speak. The VERY sad Bkf

I was going to fly it first, BUT, once I get it all together and fly it I dont think I would want to take it all back apart. Im going to just do it while its at that stage and be done. The pieces will be easier to see if there painted anyway! Hope like crazy that wont be the case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Weather

Sorry all you guys have rain/heat/bugs/mud/wind and all that nasty weather stuff. However, it is a lovely sunny day about 72 degrees here in Minnesota, and I am off to the field for an afternoon of jets. Minnesota may be godawful in the winter, but the summers are sure nice.

We had a mild winter here, but we're paying the price now I suppose. Its the crappiest weather I've seen in long time.

I just returned from Lumberton. We had a gorgeous but hot day. Hardly a cloud in the sky, but temps up around 90. I got the first five flights on the new Isobar/TJT 3000 combo. Everything worked PERFECTLY! I will post photos later. Yippeeee!

I will try Ragz. I read that many are dying from the extream heat there. For the American counterparts 44C is 111.2 F or 317.15 Kelvin or 570.87 Rankine "But it's a dry heat"

David,

Since I handle all the Krylon Rep type stuff, I will be more than glad to set your great Krylon paint jobs up with those " Krylon Touch" stickers on each of your planes. Like we talked about in Lumberton!

Richard Newman
Krylon KING!

And I will take photos!!!!!!
