Hello all
Who knows this jet, called "Assassin"? I don't know the maker (jetpower??) but it looks like a similar trainer jet. What can you say about its flight performance? Recommend for a jet beginner?
Thanks in advance
John

Hi Merlin
For what I know.
It is a great flying airplane. Nice and big, easy to see. Can fly fast and slow.
I have seen it fly, lot´s of times. A friend of mine has build one. Maybe he can tell some more about it.
What do you say Stig Andersen. Tell Os what you know about it.

OK.
I have built and flown the Mick Reeves Assassin. It goes together well, and it flies even better. Only trouble is, that it tends to get VERY heavy. Specially the wings. But it flies nice and slow on landings, even with the overweight. You need to have some incidence on the plane in order to get it to rotate. We fitted a longer nose gear, and the plane lifts off in about 50 meters with a SimJet 2300. The plane looks great in the air.
It can be flown as a beginner to jets. If you decide to build one, let me know. I have some recommendations to reinforce the all-balsa V-tail a bit.
Have fun.[8D]

Hi Michael!
I hope you like your Assassin! I can say that Michael's Assassin is nice to fly. As Stig said it tends to get a "bit" heavy. A P-120 is needed to get lots of fun. I have added Speedbrakes right in front of the wing. It takes a bit of time to build, but is great for landing. I just made them the "BVM-Bandit-style". I would say that it is 100% beginner-jet. It is just more building than a kangaroo or HotSpot.
Greetings,
David BĂĽsken
