Hello New to the Board , and starting an F16 project and living here in Las Vegas and Nellis AFB here and that being the home of the Thunderbirds I thought hmm perfect paint scheme for my soon to be here YA F-16c ducted fan , So my big question is where can I get a stencil , paint or sticker kit in 1/9 scale to do the Thunderbird theme in ?? Also does anyone make a good full pilot in 1/9 th scale that can have its helmet painted to match the actual pilots ?? This will be my first Jet project so I am sure I will have many questions in the future , I have lurked a lil on the board and there is great info here...Thanks to everyone in Advance

Well you can do what you want but Aeroloft's nomenclature for the Avond's F-15 is much more complete than the ProMark graphics I received for my F-15. I don't know if the same holds true for the Yellow F-16, but I would check into that aspect of the decals.

Hi Todd, from Dick Schweitzer in Reno. I am just about finished with my AD F-16 in Thunderbird colors. Pictures attached. I had a local sign shop cut paint masks for the lettering, stars on the tail. and the stars & bars on wing & fuse. The decals for the T-birds logo and flag panel were made on computer and printed on decal sheets from Comp USA. The thunderbird on the underside was all done with automotive fine line masking tape. All paint is Omni automotive paint with clear coat. All documention was aquired on the internet. I had e-mailed the T-birds site requesting info on the current flag panel but never recieved a reply so we may have taken a bit of "creative license" on that part, however, it looks quite good anyway. I would imagine with you being in Vegas, the flag panel should not be a problem. If you can get a picture of it, I would like to see it.
