Default Eurosport exhaust cut out

Hi

Do you guys think that the top speed of a ES would increase if I cut out the rear former of the plane to let the air flow through ?

No it will not go faster, moving air has drag. But your fuselage should last longer if you vent any air trapped inside to the outside. 200 MPH is 1 PSI.

SJN,

Won't affect the top speed but I would cut some holes in the rear former for piece of mind. There have been reports of EuroSports "exploding" mid flight due to excessive "trapped" air in the fuselage getting forced into the wings and "popping" them apart!! The holes in the rear former will help the air escape out the back instead of into the wings!

I have cut them out now. Just have to re-inforce the area now i guess.
