huricane fan unit
Well, you guys, this is what I need help with. I've got a 1/5th scale RC race car that I put a Laser V Twin 300 4 stroke engine in. I need a fan to cool it off. I've tried a couple of RK 740 KressJet impellers. I machined the back of the hub out to fit over the front of the engine, but the plastic is just too soft. I'm looking at all the impellers that are available and the one that seems like it would work would be the Hurricane Fan impeller just because the center is made out of aluminum, that would have the needed strength I need. All I hear is that the guy is a flake and you can't get parts from him. Would anyone out there have a Hurricane impeller they would like to sell? It doesn't matter if it's a small diameter because I take it down to the largest I can use that is about 3.9 inches diameter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hey I was cleaning out the gargae the other week and I found a Turbax rotor. I'll sell it to you if you think you can use it. I will take a picture and post it in a few.

RE: huricane fan unit
Well, after being a bonehead and Bob being extremely nice and sending me off the Hurricane impeller that I thought I could use, I can't because I thought it was a tractor unit instead of the Byron pusher unit. Duh! If anyone once again has a Hurricane tractor impeller, please let me know. Thanks, Dean.
