Default Intairco wheels/ brakes

Anyone use the Intairco wheels and brakes?

Happy with them? Unhappy?

I have them on my big Aeromacchi and they work great!!!
I really like that the air fittings on the brake hubs are parallel with the strut, not with the axle like on most other brakes.
They use two nylon (or delrin) pistons for actuation and the pistons expand a rubber brake lining outward against the inside of the wheel hub. This makes them release perfectly every time with no dragging or pulling to one side.
The tires are molded out of hard rubber, so they last much longer than the "others", I have over 50 flights on mine with only minimal wear.

The only drawback is that they are relatively heavy when compared to the more popular wheels and brakes on the market.

I use them on the Eurosport, 100 plus flights so far, no problems. Good even, proportional braking, with the up6 valve. The tyres are hard, the quality of materials and finish is good

I been using them on my Viper Jet and Bryce Viper Jet got over 140 flight with the original tire before I send him the new one.
The wheels are heavier than any wheel on the market. But it last very long time and you wouldn't worry about the tire came off from the rim. The brake system work very well. The shaft came with the wheel is very good quality and it use oil bushing. I only lube the bushing when install the first time. After that never worry about lubing the bushing again.
You can't go wrong with this wheels/brake.
Email me what size you need. Maybe I can help.

Tam
