Bungee Launching Kyosho F86 SABRE ?
I am on the verge of selling the Kyosho plane I bought before I have learnt to fly as so many people have slated the model for its poor performance. What I want to know is, because I do not have a paved surface for taking off would it be possible to remove the undercarriage and bungee launch the plane ?
If anyone has any pictures of how they modded the plane to help it perform I would love to see them. One web site that suggested running the plane on 45% nitro is this right ?
Thanks
Justin

RE: Bungee Launching Kyosho F86 SABRE ?
After about a dozen flight of my HotBodies A7/Toki .18 with the landing gear attached, I took the landing gear off and have been bungee launching it. Performance is much improved, and the looks (without the gear hanging down) is very very much improved. I mounted the hook (a glider-type hook) where the nosewheel hole was. With the Kyo F86 and the HB A7, the takeoff is usually the most challenging (and risky) part of the flight. Personally, I think the bungee launching method is easier and less risky (with these airplanes) than the traditional takeoff with wheels. Bob

<QUOTE>wasn`t it included in your kit </QUOTE>
There was no exhaustkit in the plane. The exhaust runs the full width of the fusealage.
