Ive been told from several rcers that YA is making a new tomcat. Is this true? If so where and when can I buy one, how much and what kind of turbines will it be rated for?

Everything you ever wanted to know about the YA F-14 kit. All this was found with a very simple search that you (tomcatter91)
could have done yourself in about 2 minutes.

RE: Yellow A/C F-14
I can work with someone to make a F-14 version ala YA but the missing ingredient is the gear the size of YAs. I have the design mostly figured out and the JR10x can fly this plane with all of the programmed functions required. The gear is the last bottleneck.
Any suggestions. I have drawings for the mains.
Dave
PS the wingspan is about 100 inches. Just fits 2 Dynamax fans or could fit 2 P-80s.

ONE Word "MATRIX" Look for John who now makes F-14 Landing gear and could easily Make them larger for you. Same guy that is doing the Scale F-16 gear now for AD, Avonds and other size F-16's

RE: Yellow A/C F-14
Turbulence,
Thanx for the suggestion. I went down this path last year. Talked to John about scaling up his gear. The design effort combined with lack of volume made it cost prohibitive and of little interest to John.
To get started, we really need to find a low volume, custom shop who enjoys machining these hobby projects.
Any suggestions?
