Waco Weekend
#28

I hope the weather in Waco is better than the weather for Houston. I am headed to Houston today for the weekend. I was hoping to hookup with Gregg and Paul and check out the Houston field so it looks like I am in a catch 22. If the weather is good in Waco, the Houston gang will be in Waco. If the weather is bad, it doesn't matter, no flying anyway. I guess we could always hanger fly.

You are welcome to join us. Also if you fly RC you are welcome to bring anything to fly. This is not limited to jets. As far as the best day to come, I'm not real sure. Some are coming Friday evening and staying until Sunday. Some are coming just one day. I'll be there Sat. and Sun.

The weather in OKC is going to be crappy so I my try to fly down for the day.
I will bring my turbine heli again, but now it is in a bell 230 body.
Is any one going to be flying eurosports? I have one that I am building and would like to see one fly.

I plan to be there around 4pm Friday. Don't have a jet to fly, my Bobcat crashed first week of April due to pilot error on finnal, but will have a 60 size stinger to fool around with and I'm bringing a Bobcat XL kit to sell if anyone is interested.

So guys,
What's the weather like there? It's total rain here in Houston. I would like to come up there but my wife is well being just that. I'm still working on her. Anyway, thought I would check with you first to see if it was a washout weekend.

We will be there for the day on sat assuming the weather is not too bad, with the Bell-230 Jet Copter.
I have a surburban rented at the airport.
Can some one give me directions from the waco airport to the field.

Don't know where the Waco airport is, but from I-35 take exit 330 (hwy 6) go west on 6, cross over lake, take 1st exit after lake, proceed west on frontage about 8 tenths of a mile, turn right on Overflow Road, field will be the first entrance on the right.
