Default P-120 install

What is the correct stand off of a P-120 and pipe? The manual shows the stand off for the P-80, are they the same? Thanks

Are you using a bypass or not?

If not, I would check with Tam to see what he says. If open I would put the nozzle into the end ofthe tailpipe maybe 1-1.5 inches or so.

A bellmouth on the pipe will affect the best location as well. Gotta check with Tam

Tam advised me on the P120 and the P160 that the end of the exhaust nozzle of the engine should be exactly 5/8" ahead of the bell mouth on his pipe. There should be a clear area measuring exactly 5/8" between the end of the engine nozzle and the beginning of the pipe. That produces the highest thrust on each engine. Probably wouldn't hurt to verify it with Tam, but that's what he told me recently.

Works for me!

Regards, Les

I would go with what Les says if it is a bellmouth. I have never run a turbine in a fuselage without a bypass.

Thank you both for your input. I will be using bypasses so I will check on it.
