Hello to you all.
I have been asked by my local flying club (Al Ain, United Arab Emirates) to put together a contest program that will be used to select the Middle East representative side to compete in International events.
Categories that they wish to select for are Non-Scale, Scale, Turbine and Helicopter. I have downloaded the AMA Competition regulations to use as a reference.
My questions for the forum community are:
1. What would be a good selection of maneuver's that will give the competitors a good indication of the standard they will need to achieve in the International Arena?
2. How many maneuvers are normally flown per competitor at a competition?
3. Are there any different maneuvers that the Turbine competitors would use, and what would be the size of the 'Box' for Turbines?
Thanking you for your help

Check out the IJMC rules for the World Jet Masters. They can be found at:

There is only one recognised international competition, and that is the IJMC jet World Masters. All countries have there own versions of what is required for competing in there own country, but if you are to go international, then I would get your team member(s) to be proficient at the IJMC level.
steve Collins has supplied the IJMC address for you in his reply.
if I can be of any help, please don't hesitate to get in touch
