anyone ever thought about building a b1?
with twin turbines or 4 electric motors
looks like a complex project
however i never do anything simple.
your ideas are appreaciated

It's been done, at least twice that I know of, using EDF power. Do a search on Ezone and there should be a few references. One was particularly impressive, nice videos as well!

I think I remember seeing photos of a project for twin turbines somewhere, but it had not flown yet.

I am in the process of building a 1/12th scale B1-B for twin turbine. It has been on the building table for a couple of years now. If interested send me a PM and I can fill you in on the details.

I saw that EDF B-1. Really cool. It is also fairly large. It has a 10 foot wingspan unswept. It used four Aveox brushless motor. I believe the larger one.

ptarmigan and chrish, where do you guys fly? maybe we know each other. i just cant tell with these comp id's. anyway lets hook up and do some local flying. also, i have considered trying to put together some kind of local jet club. we could chew the fat on some of these projects. i would love to encourage others to spend money on things that would entertain me. take care, barry
