ultra precision valves
Are these things worth a crap? I spent hours trying to get the timing correct with no luck.
I'll adjust the one that needs to speed up or slow down, and it affects something else that then needs to be adjusted.
I'll stick to robart valves and an electronics to do my timing. I would have been done setting up the gear and doors by now.
The couple of guys that have used them around here. Have had the same trouble.
I've heard that they work great also. whats the deal?

I've had good luck with them so far. I can tell you that the needle valves tend to trap dirt. On the first one I had for my Panther, the gear was moving VERY slowly. I kept backing out the needle valve until it finally came out. It poped out with the air pressure and a little black ball of crud came out behind it - problem solved. That valve has worked great since. You might try taking the needle valves out of yours and seeing if there is any dirt in there that could make it hard to adjust.
I have a UP-2 and UP-3 on my Euro and they have worked fine so far.

Just installed some valves which are6 years old in my Hawk and Eurosport, they work a dream just as another does in my Sabre.

Scott,
Give me a call and I'll see if I can help you resolve the problems.... UP Valves have always works perfectly for me, prefer them over the electronic units. I'm sure I can get your problems worked out... Todd
