I am starting to get into Jets, I have been flying for many years, everything from Kyosho EDF T-33 to large scale Warbirds and Stinger. I was looking to start my Jet training with a Lanier Shrike 40 for the speed. Then move to pushers G&P F-18 and Combat F-16, and to an Enforcer ducted fan. I have the pushers and Enforcer already, but having trouble getting Byron fan Iron Bay does not seem to be albe to supply them. Is this a logical progression twards Jets. I do have several ducted fan jets, Yellow F-4, Zeroli F9F Panther, BVM F-86, and BVM T-33 but not sure who is to be first. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like with the experience you have you can go from a shrike to the DF skipping the pusher stuff. The BVM F86 is a great flier and very docile, you should be able to handle it if you can keep up with the speed and eliminate having to go the pusher route. Biggest difference from props to DF's is the lack of airflow over the control surfaces at low speeds, you need to keep speeds up to have surface control. Since you have flown some warbirds you probably already have the experience with higher wing loading and complex systems (ie: retracts, flaps, etc..) so that should not be a problem for you....

Yeah. Skip the pushers. You won't need them. The Enforcer will be nice before you get into some of the others. Byron fans are all over the place...try putting an ad in the for sale column right here, you'll find one, even if iron bay is out of stock. You might try Top Gun Aircraft, too.
