Will look out for you Volkan, hope the guys get the right level of interest at the show,

I gather Ali is flying the Boomer Intro, and there will be at least one turbine heli that is Wren powered, so at least something for us jet types!

Would be interested in any one who manufactures good quality servo boxes to sinking into foam wings.......

Clues anyone??

Doubt that you will be eating ice-cream - weather forecast is rain and strong wind - not much flying either[sm=bananahead.gif]!

Based on their accuracy you could take the more likely outcome of it therefore being blue skies, 3mph wind and 80 degrees!!

i wanted to come also and bring my scale turbo raven
i asked ali from Als hobby,s if he would fly it
however he said to me that sandown is not a good place to fly the raven
since they paved it with carpet or something
and the raven is pretty high on its wheels and could easy flip over

is any of you coming to Jets over pampa? belgium this year
would be nice to see some of you

Sandor... shame you cant come but yes they lay "carpet" ( Red Axminster for the jet guys, Coconut matting for non-jet flyers ) down the length of the start/finish straight ...trouble is if the wind is in the wrong direction the runway is very, very wide but quite short

Hi Sandor,
Ali is right, its not the place for a model you really care about. We fly on the race track, which is rough (they let horses run around on it!) [&o]. There are fences and railings, a plywood runway and lots of no fly zones.
With the wind direction and strength It will be quite awful to fly this weekend. Jets have been flown sucessfully , notably Ali's flight with his Eurosport last year which had my heart in my mouth.
If I come back with the same number of models as I take I will call it a success; and I am only flying foamies.
If any of you see me in the Multiplex jacket please say hello.
Sandor, I will see you at Heltcheren.
Regards,

John.

SNIP notably Ali's flight with his Eurosport last year which had my heart in my mouth.SNIP.

Yes and he had to have somebody restrain it to build maximum rpm before takeoff and did a wheels up belly landing on the grass. Sandown is not flyer friendly!!
