Christian, I just made some templates from cardbord then cut from light ply and glassed.... I could make a line tracing of fences on my mig for you if you like and post, they are pretty easy to do though.... let me know

Christian, I will gladly send you paper template tracings of wing fences to address you posted as I do not have access to CAD myself. My Migs CG is as manufacturer suggested @ 50mm in front of rear spar and seems just fine as is... Just curios as to how much nose ballast you had to add to get CG with TT-66, with the Super Sport I added 700grams of lead shot to achieve balance. Also how did you set up outer gear door linkages? any pics, just to compare methods
What sort of repair?? do you have any pics?

What Happened?? Looked like a beutiful airplane. There was a thread on the net last fall about problems with the gear retracting properly. Have any of you encountered this. I really have liked this plane especially since they dropped the price. Russ

Christain, re damage repair method? I would use thin plastic sheet sections carefully and well waxed (Turtle wax on inside surface) then place sections of plastic over open structured area held down and firmly in place with small dabs of Zap etc. also then wide masking tape as well. Then lay new glass cloth/epoxy from inside once cured remove plastic and ad new rivet and panel line detail. Hardest part will be removing internal gear to fully access repair area....
Re- gear never had any problems with the gear on my Mig?? works like a charm.... that said my one is an early Fiber Classics not Comp ARF. The early Comp ARF stock wheels are usless as they do not fit at all into wheel wells??? You can either fix that by just using BVM Mig wheels or even replace with the new Intairco wheels or complete landing gear system....
Andrew Coholic took this cool pic last weekend of my Mig 15 in action at 'Bay of Quinte' its definetely my new favorite jet to fly

the damage is a result of my error in final landing..!! (sigh!!)
the speed was too slow an model stall...my mistake because
I believed tha model was very fast in landing approach but the wind in front and
air-brakes STOPPED the mig..!!
was not a gear problem...
thank's for your info..
