When the ram was introduced it was advertised as having 12lb thrust at 150,000 rpm, now there web site states 11lb at 130,000 rpm.

It seems they have down rated the engine, any one know why?

There has been no down rating. It's just a case of a website that needs an overhaul. The RAM 500 produces 12 pounds at 150k.
